Just opened my INDIE savings account, extremely smooth onboarding to open my savings account. Scan to pay feature is extremely fast and you can pay directly from your INDIE account, taking out the need to add your UPI details on apps like Paytm and Gpay. Loved the catalogue selection of my cashback brands, INDIE gems make shopping extra rewarding every time I am shopping on my favourite brands I get unlimited 3% cashback over and above the discount on brands. The REWARD program is truly real. I was blown away by the new security features, I love exploring new D2C e-commerce brands, I can now use single use INDIE debit card to make online payments without the fear of my card details being compromised. Great experience on rewards
I just tried redeeming rewards to cash and it was super smooth and got cashback instantly in my account. Plus the app gives upto 3% cashback basis your tier on spends made on brands of your choice which you can select from the rewards section on the app. Great experience! Transparent, clean rewards!

Digital Banking @ offline pace
Tried to open an account today. First 3 times never got the OTP, wondered if they were signs not to proceed.
After a while managed to get through and after opening the account, it prompted for loading initial amount which I did to become a mega star. Got an error message but amount got debited from my main bank account.
Tried calling the customer service and after about 10-15 mins managed to get through to only be told that amount will get credited only after some 24 hours or so. Account Number creation alone doesn’t make it insta account opening.
Main reason to open this was to take advantage of the zero mark up fee debit card as am to travel shortly. At this pace think I will get the card only in my return.
Tried IDFC First too, there managed to get initial amount loaded but when attempted to load more than 1l , got error message although amount being debited . When asked pre kyc limits prevented the fund transfer and will be credited after 48 hrs of completing KYC.
So lesson for the day, none of them are truly an instantly usable online account opening.
